Living Our Values

Do you know what your top ten values are? How about the top 10 things you least value?

Each of us has a set of personal values that drives our behavior. These values embody what is important to us, what we would take a stand for, what we would put our time, money and in energy into. Values motivate our behaviors, shape our commitments, and affect our courage, honesty and receptivity. Yet, many of us are not aware of our values, the relative importance of each, and the core beliefs that contribute to our value set. Upon reflection we find that the way we are living, the choices we make and the work we do may not align with our most important values. When this happens, we eventually become unhappy and unfulfilled. Aligning our personal values with those of our work plays an integral part in feeling joyful, fully engaged and fulfilled in our work and life.
